Chapter 52: The virtue of Shooting and Encouragement to learn it, and criticism of the one who learns it and then forgets it
باب فَضْلِ الرَّمْىِ وَالْحَثِّ عَلَيْهِ وَذَمِّ مَنْ عَلِمَهُ ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ

This tradition has also been narrated on the same authority through another chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُضَرَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ .
